HELP: Need someone who can fix my Magnesium wheel.

Got a tall order: I need someone who can Weld and fix Magnesium wheel. While putting on my new tires the shop found my tecnomagnesio wheel has a crack in it. I need to know if fixing it is feasible.

No experience with this personally, but a quick search brought up this thread, and they mention a few people that might be worth calling.

Another marque's forum talks about a few specialists that weld magnesium....so apparently its not impossible. The ones talked about are in CA, but its magnesium so shipping won't be expensive!

I only weld if last resort. i.e. replacements not available. I wouldn't recommend track use afterwards either.
Repair ought to be in the $100 range. if that helps decide if "feasible"

usually they say when your rims start to crack it is time to throw the wheels or the rim halves out, it is usually indicative of the wheels having reached their stress life. Probably not what you want to hear but do you really want to have a crack happen while you are on a private track at midnight somewhere?
