Jucd get a battery tender if you let your car sit for long periods of time. Its really cheap and I still have the original battery in my 99 and have never had a problem. It just hooks to the cables under the hood and plug it in to the wall with a extention cord.
I've had a battery tender on the 96 GTS for 3 1/2 years and I've never seen the battery. I bought a new diehard last year for the Ram, no battery tender because its a DIEHARD, and I guess my lesson is learned, the battery died hard. Now ready to buy a battery tender for the Ram. (In addition to a new battery).
