Most of you probably know this already but just in case you don't, Mr. Jon Hen is a member on [*****] website

I have seen many of his replies on that website and notice how he likes to trash talk the VCA. I find that pretty sad that a Viper tuner chooses to alienate his fellow Viper enthusiasts. Especially when someone like myself has one of his cars.

Anyone else have any thoughts about this?

Probably one of his customer cars lol. He was getting ready to part it out for extra money.

Gotcha...It just did not make sense that he would be an active member somewhere that he is hated and bashed..I have never been to the alley.

There are some members who still hold him accountable for his past actions, but for the most part I don't think anyone really cares about his past anymore over there. As long as he contributes in a positive manner. Plus every now and then he melts down like someone else posted and makes for good laughter.

As for the alley vs. VCA each has its positives and negatives. VCA is a little more uppitty(sp) and the alley is more laid back. Both offer a significant amount to the Viper community.

Hen, Schmen. Whatever... I say with the new administration, we should just wipe the ENTIRE slate clean. Let everyone back in if they want. Then start being consistant with your enforcement. Then the VCA and the Alley should kiss and make up and stop all this namecalling. Link to the Alley in the VCA and direct all members there to blow off steam in an R-rated matter if they choose. The VCA SHOULD be "uppity"... it is the face of Viper owners, and should be welcoming to all, whereas you need thick skin, quick wit, and have a sadistic streak to hang at the Alley (not that there's anything wrong with that).

The two sites should coexist, and not be at each other's throats.

Wierder things have happened... If you told anyone in the 80's that the makers of the "K" car would produce a mind blowing thrasher of a performance car that would leave the industry in the dust for over a decade, you would be labled a an idiot. Pigs fly more often than most people realize.

I think we coexist fine as we are. The existence of both
boards allows for a much greater online membership base.
Those who cannot stand the controlled environment go over
there and those who cannot stand the controlled chaos come
over here. Most of the animosity comes from the extremes
on both ends, but the remaining 95% of us live together
rather nicely.

We don't cross their URL and they don't cross ours. At the
end of the year we all have fun at VOI.

I personally think it would be a HUGE mistake to "wipe the
slate clean" on everyone - there have been many people
banned over the years who do not deserve a 3rd or 4th chance
to prove themselves. Do I think some people have gotten the
shaft? Yes, but I think that can be much better handled on a
case-per-case basis.
