There are a lot of personal 'feelings' between the old VCA guard and Hen. I know this b/c as a past president, I was told I could take sponsorship $$$ from _anyone_ to help make the Zone Rendevouz happen.

so after we took Hen's $$ (he was very generous and several GA members have his stuff / like him / have no issues w/ him) I got a call from the national president saying a) don't tell anyone we had this talk, and b) you have to give him his $$ back. Apparently RSI got their ******* in a *** about being a sponsor at the same time AND there was an unwritten and unspoken BAN on Hen that a few people knew about (but that isn't universally shared w/ presidents). apparently Hen isn't allowed to attend events either. That isn't to say that Hen doesn't try to be involved when he shouldn't... if it were me i'd play it like a game just the same.

but the point is that there is some bad blood w/ Hen and the old guard-VCA. I like Hen from my personal interactions with him and his customers (in GA) like him.

Oh yeah, and if I were ever in a bar fight, i'd want him on MY side.

It takes a long time for bad blood to go away. Even if by chance, Hen is keeping all his current customers happy. His past ethical errors ( to put it politely), will not go away until they are all satisfied.

Hopefully, the day comes when a sincere, public appology comes out of Hen.

JD, bar fights are never really any good. In my experience, there are only a couple punches thrown, before a drunk is down or the fight is stopped.
It's better to take it outside and just have at it!
