Hennessey Datona Wing for sale!!!!!!

I have a Hennessey Daytona wing for sale which is primed and ready to be painted. This is NOT a reproduction or a "copy", it is an original Hennessey product. If you go to John's site, you can purchase one for $ 1,800 (at your own risk). I will also provide you with the hole diagram so that you know exactly where it needs to be bolted down. I've had the car up over 150mph with this wing on with no issues at all. I'm selling it because my Viper was involved in an accident and I'm in the process of selling it.

I was thinking about just putting this up on ebay, but I thought a lot of you here would be very interested in it. Plus, most of you frequent this board more often than you do ebay for parts like this.

So, to make it fair to everyone, I've decided to do a silent auction. Just email me ([email protected])and give me the highest price you are willing to pay for it (You will be responsible for shipping costs, I'm shipping from Chicagoland, 60172). It's that simple. Once you bid, you can not bid again, nor will I indicate you are the highest bidder at any time.

Hey Steve, why sell? Did the car incur more damage in the rental accident then first thought? The car looks outstanding with the wing.

There really wasn't much damage to the car at all. Just had to buy a qtr and a rocker and do some mechanical work. The insurance company totaled the car. By doing that, I am unable to re-rent it (They'll only cover 50% if it gets into another accident), so I have to part with it. I'll be putting the car up on ebay within a week or so. It's a great deal for someone who's always wanted a Viper. I'll have all of the mechanical work done to the car, it will be 100% driveable, all that is needed is bodywork and paint.

Beware!
I bought a wing from Hennessey a few years ago. I paid $1800 for it, but, believe it or not, he refunded me $300 because of a special he started shortly after I bought it. The problem was that it was extremely rough when it arrived and needed several hours of prep work before it could be painted. The one he has on Ebay may be the same. You might be better off buying steveb's if it is already primed.
By the way, I love the wing. The design flows with the Viper and looks factory.
