Great, it worked. Yeah, I never liked those giant orange warning labels either.
I have a shop where I can, and did, cover mine in black lamb leather, which is a very soft leather. It is machine and hand stitched onto the existing visor. It is not glued, in case you ever wanted to take it off. I can do this in Black, Blue, Red, and Yellow, and green.
One would have to take the visors off, ship to me and I will ship back. Turn around time is about 2 days in my shop, and then it depends on how fast you want the shipping.
Pricing would be about $75 for the pair, including shipping, but extra for express shipping.
Any interest??
Going out now, will check posts later.

Viper Logo? Yeah, I could do that.....need to look into how to get the logo. I could do stripes.....really anything...of course would take a little longer....cost a little more. Hey, if a big enough responce comes in, anything could be done.

To answer another question... how are they removed? I never planned on removing mine. I could do velcro, but then it wouldn't look quite as neat. My goal was to make something tight, and neat. I hate those warning labels so much I never dreamed of wanting to remove the covers unless I was selling the car and the new owner didn't want them for original purposes. If I wanted to take mine off....I'd just snip the stitch on one side and off it comes.

Already got some e-mails....
Ship to:
Andrew Cinque
699 North MacQuesten Parkway
Mount Vernon, NY 10552

Include a check for $75 which includes ground shipping, + $15 for overnight ship back, or +$8 for second day ship back.

Also. If you want blue, red , yellow or green, for now I only have black and white stitching. So tell me what color thread you want. Blue and white looks good, red/black, yellow/black

Thanks.

They look great. I was thinking of having this done, but i didnt think of putting the leather right over top of the fabric. Wouldn't it be better, if your not worried about going back to original, to take the fabric off first (less bulky... a little slimmer).

Craig....you are not supposed to see that poster.

Larry......I guess my pics don't do justice. I didn't want to mess with taking off the fabric. I don't think they came out bulky. The lamb leather is very thin.....about like a t-shirt.

What can I say........I'm in Prosthetics and Orthotics (artificial Limbs and braces) and I do tons of custom leatherwork in my shop, which is why this came so natural to me. Coveriing the visors with leather was a no-brainer...just a little time consuming and the leather of course costs money. I don't have to look at those labels so I'm happy. Hey, everyone can check it out at VOI 7.

ACR Autopia....Dolphins? Did I miss something?

I think they look great, but my radar detector barely fits on as it is so if I take off the fabric and ship them to you can you hook me up? Also, if I take the fabric off that should mean it will take less leather to cover them... i.e. discount! (joke). I will send the $75 but i wanted to make sure your still accepting them.

Jim:
Glad you like them.

Larry:
I see your radar detector problem. Honestly, I never saw the visors with the fabric off, but send them over....I'm sure it'll be fine. Maybe yours will come out even better??
