This topic has probably been beaten to death but I have decided to go with HIGH FLOW CATS. Who has the highest flowing cats?

The ones on the TNT page loog good but they are $500 and I dont know much about TNT. All their stuff seems to be priced high.

Any ideas?

There are a variety of after-market and 'high-flow' catalytic converters. However, there are less manufacturers. Many products come from the same manufacturer with different private-labels. Also, keep in mind that some may flow well, but may be made with lesser-quality materials/substrates and may not last very long. The decision one has to make is value vs.performance. Would you pay twice as much for a negligible horsepower gain? Remember if your engine put out xxxcfm, and you have a cat that flows xxxcfm, then it will probably not benefit you to use a cat that flows 2xxxcfm more than your engine does.

We chose to use our particular high flow cats based upon a couple of facts:
1) They are stainless
2) They are built by one of the largest US manufacturers (use in some OEM apps)
3) They flow plenty for the Viper (rated at well over the size of the Viper motor.
4) They perform well.

You can call us at 408.562.1000 for more details.
Thanks!

Depending on your mods, there is likley no need to buy the expensive metal-honeycomb substrate cats. (Euro-tiners list em for $1495 /pair!

Not only have we done the research on these, and have the selection, but have mounted and tested them on our own vehicles, as well as w/ Dan Cragin. There are indeed cats that 'flow plenty for Vipers'....(The manufacturer (president to engineering) will NOT disclose flow rates. We no longer sell those unless we must, to be competitive, or if a customer insists. 95% of their market is the riceburner-set. {Profit margins are great...the fit is mediocre.)

Note: Hi-Flow cats WILL MAKE YOUR VEHICLE LOUDER! Depending on the cat-back, maybe MUCH louder. ie, w. a 2.5" CORSA they sound the equivalent of a 3" cat-back!

PartsRack has literally hundreds of happy customers with our SilverBullets......for hundreds less than $500. And we build them to custom lengths for YOUR application !
