My hood switch is causing the alarm to go on and off.
It caused me (and to other hotel guests) a lot of troubles over this week-end in Pocono :)

How can we adjust the hood switch?

I just unmounted it but I can't move the small plastic ring up or down.

How to do it ?

Never looked at that, but could it be related to your third seat?

Just kidding, it was nice to meet you this weekend, see you soon...

I had the same problem even after replacing the switch. It has a flimsy mount. I used some adhesive to hold it into it's mounting bracket.

Just leave it unplugged... alarm still arms and protects the other zones... but at least no more wind blowing alarm set offs...

Dumbest switch location ever... right in the middle of the bow of the hood... it should be down near the latch... then the heat and contraction won't cause the switch to open.

If you must you can pound the collar towards the connector end firmly... by tapping the connector end with the collar held over a hole or the open jaws of a vise... reinstall with locking collar and first hood slam will reset the height.

Yes I have disconnected that switch. But I need to fix it. I need the alarme working 10/10 on the next 2 weeks for the F1 race week-end in Montreal.
