I've been quiet lately due to much work travel, and now that I am back, I gotta get some mental help.

Granted I have a little more power under the hood than some, but seriously... How do I get the back tires to stay down when I want to get on it and go?

I pretty much know that if the car isn't 100% straight, the car is gonna spin. Worse, even if it is perfectly straight, the back end pops out when I get on it.

Current tire pressure is 28lbs all around. This is for the street where the car gets 99% of its usage.

Any recommendations [other than slow down]? I'm even talkin' about getting on an on-ramp at the interstate _or_ after paying a toll at the toll booth [one of my favorite past times on GA 400].

Thanks in advance!

I would say you need new Pilots, you should be able to keep it planted if you aren't slamming the throttle, even if you do have 700 hp

current tires have about 11k on them. They are in pretty decent shape though I haven't looked in a few days since I last smoked them. <g> .

Hum...

I'm gonna run to the garage right now and check.

Oh, come on, Gerald, you can do better than that. Regale us with your stories of lost traction...

I think your SOL with 18" rims you can't do much with tires. The Kumhos only come in 17" but do grip much better than sports.
