Sounds good, but i wish i heard more! Like at higher RPM. I guess i will just try the corsa track with stock cats, and if its to quiet i will have them taken out.

I tried the stock cats, stayed with crossover and put in a straight pipe. I loved the sound. The exhaust sound was normal at cruise, but when you pressed the pedal down it scarred small children, squirrels and old ladies (it was great). I ended up removing that setup and changing it to a small bullet muffler because I was concerned that maybe their was a HP loss with straight pipe.

Small bullet muffler is a little quieter, it only scares
the squirrels and corvettes.

You'd need a system that retains the cross over or comes with a cross over/H-pipe.....then headers,no cats. Even then it really won't sound like the GTS since each side exits on opposite sides of the car.

Also, that thing is supercharged which makes it even louder.

Ment to get vids to hear both exhaust system....the catless one kind of drowns out the other one. Maybe we'll make some more vids...gotta have one car drive slow while the other goes by.

Good video and sound clips

I like the sound of the stock with no cats. I have a drivers side primary cat going bad. Don't know what Ill do with my set of 02 simms;)

I think my favorite of those is the headers, no cats and Dymomax race bullets. ILLSMOQ, do you know the length and diameter of the race bullet muffler?

Took this the other morning. Car has stock headers and cats, but no mufflers, just an HPC-coated straight pipe. Pretty loud. :) I plan to get a Corsa soon so I can pass db req's at the track.

Kai that is the best sounding GenIII I have heard. Is that with all the engine mods also?

Yes, that is with all the mods. It has a little different sound than others I've heard. I've taken a lot of rotating mass out of the engine and driveline (30 pounds for the crankshaft alone) so the rpms rise (and fall) really quickly. Gives it a bit more "bark" than most.

Has anyone had a chance to install the new B&B Side Exhaust yet? I really want to see how those sound on the Gen III. Sean Roe is now offering them.

Wehn you say new, does that mean they changed it. Just curious, because ILLSMOQ put one on about 6 months ago. Did not sound good to me. It was so quiet, like stock in my opinion and didnt have a nice tone. but maybe they have changed something for the better.

Yeah I didnt know how new it was, guess I didnt see the one where he posted the sound clip on it, is it in this thread? I just see most everyone using the Corsa and I am sure for a reason, and saw that Sean Roe posted in the "New Product and Suppliers section" Dated 12/29/2007 that said "B&B Side exhaust now avaliable for 03-06's", guess that meant he just got them avaliable, and not that they are new. I did look around and didnt see anyone else running them. I have of course seen info on their headers, just not there 03-06 exhausts.

Here is the link to the post http://forums.viperclub.org/new-pro...94-b-b-side-exhaust-now-available-03-06s.html and it does say new, this is quoted from Sean Roe "Just wanted to let you know that B&B has a side exhaust available for the '03-'06 cars now"

That is different. B&B used to use the crossover, they were one of the few exhaust companies with the crossover, thus making it quiet. That might not sound that bad then if its a side exhaust. Looks similar to Corsa, bellanger etc.

I have searched around and have found no more info on anyone running the B&B Side Exhaust, does anyone have any results from this setup and is it brand new or a newer version or not new at all?? From the sounds of it, this Exhaust sounds brand new to me.
