How do you properly clean electrical contacts?

Hey guys,

I am currently trying to get my car ready for a Federal Inspection and one of the key things is I have to have daytime running lights hooked up. I got a used module from a 95 Caravan since its the same part number and all (new ones are $250 from the dealer). Anyways I clicked it tights into the harness and it doesnt work. If i loosen the module from the harness and push the harness up, then the daytime running lights work fine, but obviously I cant stand there pushing on the module for the federal inspection .

The contacts are down in the module so it makes it hard to get at for cleaning, but I did rub baking soda/water on the contacts, and dryed them. Still with the same results. Does anyone have any good solutions for cleaning these contacts. they don't look corroded from what I see, but i'm sure they are dirty from years of sitting in the wreckers

Can't get the mopar contact cleaner in canada anymore, you have to use aftermarket contact cleaner.

Radio Shack has several types of contact and tuner cleaners.....

I use Deoxit on everything from my cameras to other electronics. They also have a connector enhancer that I use too...

Give it a little 'in-and-out'....... Push it back and forth a bit and wiggle the harness a bit too. Maybe the problem will go away?
