Im in.Where are all the guys who have been crying for yellow for 2 years?

The key part being TWO YEARS.... People move on, some buy Gallardo's some buy Ferraris and some buy Vettes.. but they move on...

For a simple color addition, I can't believe it's taken 2 years and still no Yellow, wasn't Yellow the second most requested color?

People have been asking for Coupes and Yellow - D.C. has provided -

White Mamba
Black Mamba
Carbon???
Special Raffle Cars (Thank you - Please keep doing this)
SRT/Ram VCA Edition (cool truck, but not for me)
Special edition Yellow SRT (wierd hood and wheels ???? Who came up with this?
this is not what we all have been asking for?)
SRT-4 (nice if your into that sort of thing...)

I would say D.C. has not been listening!

Yellow SRT/10 would be well recieved, not as well as it would have been two years ago, "the bloom is off the rose" so to speak. I would have bought a second SRT/10 If Yellow was an 04' color, I won't now, so that's one sale the've lost.

A Coupe will be still very well recieved, however, as the GT becomes more of an option for people and the C-6 Z06 becomes available, the Coupe option for the SRT/10 (GTSRT/10?)becomes less appealing to many, it will take more of a car to re-invigerate the Viper community.

To be "king of the Hill" now takes a "street legal race car" like the GTS only now 450 hp is child's play - I think there are Kias with 450 hp (isn't there?)
500 is "respectable" but a modded Z06, SRT/10, SRT Ram, or many BMWs and Mercede's have that.

To be "King of the Hill" means at LEAST 550 hp, race ready, mean ass, you know it when you see it, kind of a car!

The 03' Concept Coupe was that kind of car, only not enough hp, What happened, why would D.C. "Tease" us with that and then let Ford build it? (the GT has every bit of appeal the Concept Coupe had only it is actually being built)
Sorry for the rant, but it is frustrating.

I am here and I am in but I must admit there is too many comlainers that complain about every small detail.

I will agree though that I look so much forward to the coupe. I am a HUGE YELLOW FAN but I do hope that when they finally get around to making the coupe that it will come out in the Orginal blue/white combo.

It's not worth the extra 5-10 large, over the regular SRT. I really was looking to replace the 95. I will wait for a yellow coupe or move on to another brand.

I will withhold judgement until I see the pics from every angle, inside and out. Until then, I'll just say it's very unique.

I actually think this was pretty clear - you had to be a registered VOI attendee in order to particpate in the raffle. Not the other way around.

Perhaps that will change if not enough folks that are attending enter the raffle?

$90K for a yellow SRT sounds like a recipe for massive depreciation. Hell, *I* want a yellow SRT to replace my RT/10 (and begin the next project), but I'll wait for them to offer one through the usual channels... then call Woodhouse, same as always :)

I would like to get in on the raffle, but I'm not going to Dallas. So I guess I'm out.

Has Dodge given up on the west coast?

UGLY CAR!

That is one UGLY car and the price is a quite outrageous just for a color. Sorry for being outspoken on this one but $89,995 plus taxes (almost $100,000) for that?? NO WAY! Sorry but I would take that money and buy something else; Ferrari F355 or a nice down payment on a 360 Spider since they are much nicer. :2tu:

It's not JUST the color. It's 1 of only 50 special VCA edition cars. None are available for purchase to the general public. Can we say rare, exclusive and collectable.
I bet people said the same when the Superbird/Daytona came out " man that wing is ugly".

If they decided to do that I would hope they would give priority to the ones that followed the rules and fill those orders first!

But the thing is those cars have a RACING HISTORY! The SRT-10 has $hit all for any histroy let alone any racing history value. HOw many races has the SRT-10 won?

No coupe = no care

Re: UGLY CAR!

I am sorry but I do not agree. I mean look at the Mamba editions. They were limited and they are going for just a LITTLE over a used 04 as well. Look at the 1996 GTS etc. The only Vipers that I have seen hold a "collectors" value is the 1992 RT/10, the 1997 RT/10 in Blue with White Stripes, and the 1996 but the least out of all of the three. This one of 50 is not going to make a difference. The color is just horrible and the price is worse!

*Oh and yes I forgot to mention the 1998 GT-2. That is an excellent "value" car. Seems like "Daytona Viper Collector" has all the Vipers that will be highly saught after!

I loooove your color combo. Something DC should have done but that's a moot point now. I still have to see that awesome car of yours. Thought I might have seen it at the chrysler show last weekend in mississauga.

Re: UGLY CAR!

Hopefully the weather is nice. I know my dad is going to be there, don't know if I want to make the drive down from barrie tho. There were quite a few prowlers there last weekend. Probably 8 of them.
