How many shades of red are there for the GTS?

Hey guys, as the title says....I was wondering how many shades of red there are for the GTS. I see pictures only, and it looks as though there are a few, but more or less is it the picture lighting, etc?

just viper red in the GTS.....it depends on the lighting and your computer screen, i have some pictures that my viper looks a tad orange

Ya, i've seen some that look orange'ish red as well, and some that look pale and bland. The pale/bland is what worries me as my dad is looking at a viper for me on my behalf. Likely just needs a good wash&wax to liven it up

I have a red , correction, Fast Viper Red. Thanks Fatboy 18, 02 GTS and it's not so much that the car needs a good wash and wax, cause mine is clean, its just that it doesn't seem to photo that well unless you have a good camera , lighting, and know what your doing. In one picture my car looks great, the red looks amazing, and in others, it looks washed out. Kinda *****. But in person, it always shows good. Never washed out.

Color can also have a lot to do with processing of the photo, particularly if it is digital. Many camera owners are unaware their pictures are not completely processed, or in some cases,, such as Sony, over-processed. I use photo-shop elements to complete the processing of all my photos. Red should be red, and my 02 GTS is definitely " Red " .

Short answer: ONE

All the RED jokes aside, there is but ONE PAINT CODE from 1992-2010 for all the RED Vipers out there.

Dodge did have a couple MY 1997 PVPs GTSs in a deep, rich tomato red color, and photos were shown in media, Vipermag etc. back then. One of them was the Pace Car for the first-ever wheel-to-wheel Viper race, at Viper-Ferrari War I, at Gingerman 9/21/96. As it was unloaded at the track, most attendees migrated over to see the "First Red GTS" ...lottsa 35mm film and video shot that day! But the color did not survive "styling" review.

As "Jim The Color Guy" can tell you, a LOT of Reds were considered in the styling studio before Venom Red emerged.

Slithr is correct , as Venom Red was a new color for 08. Viper Red is the only other red if we don't consider one of the raffle cars, etc. The Venom Red was not listed as a 2009 color , but a few trickled out.
