How many Shadow Blue Pearl 2013 SRTs are there?

A dealer in the Charlotte area has a Shadow Blue Pearl SRT with Billet Silver stripes. Their Autotrader ad claims it's the only SBP SRT in the country. I'm sure there were very few, but is it really the only one? And what's the official word on whether SBP made it to 2014?

The dealer stealer is always correct ... it has been verified... there is only ONE Shadow Blue Pearl on earth at this time......................with that VIN number...

I dont know, but I am pretty sure that is my favorite Gen V color combo so far.

That color would have been my second choice if I couldn't get stryker red. I also wonder why SRT didn't make a "viper green" that is something like a yellow base with a emerald green tint on top. I think that would have been awesome and you almost never see a green car on the road.

I know of at least one other.... mine... Mine is solid, no stripes and I don't have a clue as to how many were made in '13, though I do know that color is not available in '14.

I saw a SBP GTS at Road America a few weeks ago at the ALMS race. It was raining so I didn't get a chance to really look it over but in those conditions it looked almost black.

They do look black and in fact, my DMV had me select black as the color. There are basically two light conditions I have noticed so far that make it obvious that it is not black. The first condition is under almost direct overhead sunlight and the second at night as the car reflects overhead lighting and from an angle.

It's really a unique and attractive color under the right lighting conditions when the pearl really pops.

I agree that the the Shadow Blue and the Stryker Red are brilliant and the most beautiful colors for 2013.

Question. I know the stryker red was a high cost option, but was your shadow blue pearl an up charge or additional cost option for that color and if so how much more $$ ??

Ah, but yours is a GTS. They meant the only SRT economy model made in SBP. Very interesting that they made you call it black, so if you ever get stopped when the police were looking for a black or blue sports car, you can claim in court that it was really the other color.

And if it isn't, I'll find all the VIN plates and rewrite them with a laundry pen. Those don't wash off.

SBP is an extra $1,000. I really like it, although nothing beats Venom Black. I didn't think SBP was even available on the SRT but upon carefully reading driveSRT.com the only GTS-exclusive colors for 2013 were Stryker Red and GTS Blue. Since it looks like SBP is gone already, I sure wish I had $116,000 to go get that one. Then again, we should find out before long what Stryker Green looks like and whether it costs less than $14,600.

SBP was a $1,000 option. The SRT stripes were at $4,500 option.
Stryker was a $14,600 option.

I believe stripes are mandatory in my opinion (for my personal car) BUT what a deal the shadow blue was !!!

Touche... guess I missed that... And yeah, it's the 'other' color. :D

Just delivered a Shadow Blue with Silver Stripe car yesterday, so my gut reaction is , " Don't think that is the only one, ha!"
Yay! Congrats on making a big sale, and to the new owner on a happy day!

Was it an SRT or a GTS? I think that's what the ad is trying to say--the only SRT. I've seen several GTSes in SBP.

@PeerBlock, during VOI 12 there was talk of a green color being introduced later on in the production schedule, maybe confirmation still has to be made?

I have an older Teal Green Metallic Camaro, originally registered as green and even says so on the build sheet. It is very obviously green but the DMV here for some reason changed it to blue and insists it is blue when I've tried to change it 2 times (were they both colorblind ?) No problems though when I've been pulled over though!
I think the Shadow Blue is gorgeous :2tu:

Stryker Red is truly a color that has to be seen to be appreciated fully...:omg: I had the good fortune of seeing it first hand at PREFIX earlier this year.:D Shadow Blue or Gunmetal would be a very difficult choice for second best color for me... guess I need to visit PREFIX again to help make up my mind.

Definitely a sharp color. The lines of the new viper make almost all the color offerings a true knock out. I had originally ordered stryker red with billet silver stripes, only to find out when I could actually place the order that there were no stripes on stryker red. Came down to my next two choices, SBP and white. Since my Z06 was black, I felt I needed a lighter color this time around. Ended up with white/black stripes w/ laguna black interior/ matte venom wheels. SBP is hands down my favorite of the darker colors, its too bad they discontinued it.

Yup, they found out we liked SBP, so now they don't make it anymore. Everybody liked Stryker Red too, but at 14.6 I suppose there were not enough takers to justify the PITA of spraying a tri-coat. And my nearest dealer almost certainly won't get a Stryker Red because they still haven't sold their LE 56/150 or their GTS white/black stripes that have been on their floorplan since May, and they said they're taking no more Vipers until they sell those two. Come on down, everybody!

We will, though, have Anodized Carbon for 2014, whatever that is. I hope it's not just matte black. Gunmetal Pearl too, and though it's my least favorite, it still looks plenty good enough. And red stripes! White with red stripes, I think I could live with that.
