You're good Chuck!!

production numbers:

2003 35,469

2001 35,627
2000 33,682
1999 33,273
1998 31,084
1997 9,752
1996 21,536
1995 20,742
1994 23,330

Total 322,331. This works out to be about a 20:1 ratio. Now factor in all the pre 1992 'vettes.......

Twice as many Ferraris with probably 1/4 total miles as all the Vipers. Well, at least a lot of those Italian Stallions get tracked.

Then I take it that the 16000 +/- number does not include Vipers that may no longer be on the road (i.e. accident / Totalled). Do we know how many might be out of the U.S.?

The 16K figure is total factory production, no telling how many are no longer on the road due to being destroyed in wrecks.

Viper wracks are coming in Canada because we don't have laws againts putting them back on the roads. So count the number of Viper imported from the States and you get a very good number. The last year when I searched for my viper 2 out of 5 GTS vipers were rebuilds and coming from the States. So my guess is that only a very few Vipers are not rebuilt so the number of count should be accurate.
