I searched thinking this was already posted but couldn't find the post(s).

I have an ACR on order and checked on insurance today (I know that's something you should check in advance but at 61 and with a fairly decent record that usually isn't an issue for me).

My insurance company quoted me $590.00 @ six months. That's higher than any other car I've had including the C6 Z06 when it was new.

Is that in line with what most people are paying?

In VA - 32yo married - $1000/year just for Viper, full coverage, $500 deductible through Geico, 3 vehicle discount (2 Yaris's), with glass and roadside assistance. 1 speeding ticket (not in the Viper) in the last 3 years by me.

$207 every 6 months, with a $500 ded. through Fidelity National. They give me a bit of a discount for having my homeowner's insurance with them as well.

I pay $358 per year with State Farm. 95 RT10 , 39 years old. $500 deduct full coverage. I do also have other vehicles and the house with them, so there is a discount I believe.

try Grundy...my 96 gts is 650 for the year, im 30 yrs old

Thanks. I checked and Grundy was $1540.00 per year so I will stick with my USAA insurance. With the ACR added I would be paying about $2800 per year for the 08 ACR, 06 Z06, 06 GMC and 01 BMW 540i. I am 61, no accidents and one ticket in the past five years.
