How much extra power by removing cats?

Of course you will gain a few HP removing the cats (although illegal) but ONLY on the very top end. You will see a loss through the meat of the power band you use all the time "under the curve" as dyno operators call it. Not a good trade in my humble opinion.

Not on a Viper, but I've seen dyno plots before and after cat removal and, while there was a loss of power low down, there was a net increase in 'area under the curve' without the cats. I wonder if the same effect is observed on Vipers?
