How much oil?

I just had my oil changed at a so called 5 Star Dealership(WestOaks Dodge)...they supposedly put 12 quarts of Mobile 1 in the car, at a price of $134.00!

My questions is: How many quarts of Mobile 1 should be put in a '93 R/T10?

The specs sheet for the 93 RT/10 (according to this website) as far as oil capacity shows 10.5 quarts w/out filter. 11.5 quarts with filter. So the dealer may have not been too far off.

Whew! *sigh of relief* Man was I pissed when someone told me it should be 8 quarts... Thank You

I think the 8 quarts is for early Gen 2's. My 97 takes about 9 quarts with the oil filter. BTW-Sharp wheels on your 93. I was thinking about doing the same to my 94.
