How much do you think the 42lb injectors are good for on a force induction viper?

Does Bosch make higher flow injecotrs that will fit the Viper?

42LB? Doesn't seem like enough.

We had to go to 50LB injectors for the set up were putting on my GTS. Sean said we should be 715 to 720 RWHP.

here is how you figure it out...
# injector= (crank Hp x .65)/10 injectors, then multply that number times duty cycle. The .65 is the coefficent you use for forced induction.

example: (800 Crank Hp x .65)/10= 52lbsx90% duty cycle equals 47 lb injectors so in theory for about 700 RWHp you need 47# injectors under forced induction. For naturally asperated change the coefficent to .50

also note you better make sure to use high impedience injectors with the stock computer/piggy back or you will need a special driver to use the low impedience injectors. I think Sean Rowe had the best price on the Bosch 50# injectors.

The pros can make almost 1000hp

but for the DYI projects I'd be taking the advice posted above and using those calculations. Exceeding those guidelines is not to be taken lightly.

As an FYI... The lime green 42 lb/hr injectors are rated at a fuel pressure lower than what Vipers use. At Viper fuel pressure, lime green 42 lb/hr injectors flow ~50 lb/hr.
