How reasonable is it to get a Viper GTS for KBB/edmunds values or close?

Not easily. If you find one in that price range be VERY weary as it is usually a red flag for undisclosed damage.

well i figured that dealers are letting go of brand new cars for tons off MSRP ( in fact i got offered a new 01 acr for > $20k off)

that should have a dramatic effect on used viper re-sale.

I just want to make sure I don't pay too much when i do buy.

the bargains are out there! shop wisely & you will not be disappointed. In our local area, GTS are in the low 40's for decent to very nice cars. I have seen some of these cars & they are real.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I figure that with owners going to SRT-10's and the bad economy the gen 1/2 viper market will be getting softer, plus they are not exactly super rare with over 10k built during gens 1 and 2.

I'm just going to be patient and wait for the exact car that I want
