How to change Headlights (with Sean Roe\'s H.I.D\'s)

Do you have to remove the front fascia in order to switch out the headlamps? The manual I'm looking at leads me to believe that this is needed. This seems like alot of work to replace the lights :) Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. It's my Saturday project, but I don't want it to turn into a Sunday project too! Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming that I have to remove the mud flaps behind the light as a minimum? Then unscrew the back of the panel (on the lamp housing). Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!

PS. I really hope this doesn't involve pulling off that front fascia. It just doesn't make sense heh heh.

UpDate: Guess I'm impatient.

Hopefully I did this correctly.

I did have to remove the mud flap behind the light fixture and then removed the back panel. (Didn't have to remove the front fascia, whew!)

Don,

Did you take any pictures of your job? It would be a great Howto for the next person that wants to change their lights.

I wish I had taken pictures. I finished it up a little bit ago. It would be very useful IMHO if there was a Howto for someone that hasn't seen it done before. Once I had an understanding of what I was doing, it only took about 30 minutes. You could do it faster if you didn't take all the breaks I took to read the forums ;)

Yeah, you did it right. The light has an access panel on the rear side with 3 or 4 wing nuts.
The cool thing about the Roe HID's is that they fit inside the housing.
Make sure your lights are aligned b4 installing the HID's, this insures proper alignment.
You'll love them.

The light installation is a sinch, and only took me 20 min for both sides.

However the allignment is what took for ever the factory adjustment is totaly off for HID's. Had to sit there for a while to allign the beams where they needed to be.
