More than likely from the coolant temp being too low for the speed you were driving. (Folks who have changed out their thermostat to 170's in Gen IV's get a CEL and sometime go into limp mode from this, did you switch?). Look in your owners manual on how to find the code from the check engine light, combination of turning key on and off 4 times? Haven't done it in awhile but you can do it yourself. Take code # and then see what the fault is. Hopefully it's just the coolant temp/speed fault. Dealer or some shops can clear the CEL for you. The code may clear itself after cycling the motor on and off 4 or 5 times. If that's what the code is just let your viper idle for a minute or two before driving, drive easy, keep the rpm's under 3K but don't run at 1K, till you get the temp to 180
