How to install a diff in your GEN II

In this video I show how I changed the differential in my Viper to a Mopar Performance 3.73.

Install is pretty straight forward and would be much easier with a lift and power tools but this video shows that it can be done in your own garage.

Check back on YouTube for more videos uploaded every few days! In car review video also coming soon once gears are broken in but so far it is a HUGE upgrade to the car and my most favorite mod yet. ;)

Didn't see any mention of installing a speedo calibration unit. Did you not put one in?

how do you remove the half shafts from the spindles? look like it has a cotter pin and an axle nut?

I have not added one yet! Looking into options for a dedicated cal unit but also heard from Dan Cragen there is a way to alter the PCM to make the change.

how do you remove the half shafts from the spindles? look like it has a cotter pin and an axle nut?

There is another U-Joint at the spindle which I removed rather than mess with the axle nut. I had the spindles and control arms off right before this doing poly urethane bushings on all 4 corners. I'll post up that video as well! :)
