Well, finally got them back! had a whole list of problems doing them, got them all resolved. We had to come up with a way to fasten them to the mill...which required complete disassembly and a little ingenuity. Then we had to find a way to cut them and thread them- normal methods wouldnt suffice, cant chuck up a shaft shaped like a Z in a lathe! Finally got that worked out. Then, low and behold...hardened steel!?!? Jeeze... they are shifting a car not lifting it up! Anyway, a few days, 1 lathe, two mills, and countless tool sharpening sessions later, finally have them produced

From left to right, OEM shifter, Modified Hurst, OEM Hurst, Modified OEM Knob

The Shifters retail for 249.00, I can offer them modified like the above for 324.00. I can also have your OEM knobs modified like the above for 44.00, complete with Wrench Flats. I cant stress enough how you would swear these parts came out of the box from the manufacturer like this! EXCELLENT workmanship.

I will be doing these in Batches of 5 or so most likely. 50% down, Balance on completion+Shipping.

What did you use to make the dummy isolator or does that come with the Hurst? I have Rich's bolt and would love to have a way to seal the bolt to the stock rubber boot?

Daniel: I am looking to be about 1" lower than stock. Would the modified Hurst + modified OEM knob do the trick?
The Hurst is my first choice if possible.

Carguy07- The dummy isolator comes with the hurst. I can ask next time I take a batch to the machine shop how much it would cost to have them duplicate one if you would like.

TedK- The modified hurst is the same height as OEM, and I can shorten the knob to your spec, -1.00 inch is not a problem.

PS- I am not yet set up for Cores with OEM knobs, but I do have a "loaner" knob or two laying around if you only have your OEM.
