DC Performance's bodywork place is Scandanavian Coachcraft. Ole Vanborg is the owner and he used to be the bodyshop manager of Claude Short Dodge. I have had my sidesill repaired and re-painted by them and it came out great.
I would take the time to talk with L&G Enterprise in San Dimas (where 10/210 fwy meet) They do phenominal body/paint work and do quite a few custom trucks for SEMA etc. One of the few shops I would trust with any of my vehicles.
A guy on viper alley replied to my post on 2003 vs 2004 or 2005 with the diffs
on those years. He mentioned a carrier pin problem in the 2004 that could
shear and had wrecked a few cars already and recommended getting it changed
if/when you upgrade to 3.55 rear end. That sounds like your problem. Have
them pull the rear end and check.
