Here are the shots. Some may think it's "Rice", but I'm Asian so there is my excuse. Rice away! I like it!

Nice one Adam. Like the scoop on your snake with your rear wing, they complement each other. Really like the look the clear side-repeater lenses gives ya too, especially on a silver Viper.

Some of those pics came out great! I haven't gotten a shot of mine yet that has come out looking half as good as yours. The 3rd shot down just needs to have the front wheels toed in a little more and lightened slightly so you can see the big rear meats and it would be perfect IMO.

Regarding the scoop, I think it looks good on your car. I still have the Feb 2000 Automobile magazine cover on my bookcase at work with the first shot of the competition coupe I had seen and it was the roof scoop that caught my eye more than anything.

I am curious how it attaches and I am assuming it is non-functional, so any concerns about it launching itself at high speeds when the pressure builds up or is the opening blocked off or the unit vented somehow?

Now if you put Knight Rider like LEDs flashing back and forth inside there, THAT would be over the line

Great Photos!

Right out of the box a Viper turns heads like nothing else. But it is always exciting to see the enthusiaism that a Viper envokes in those who fall in love with it's concept. Once you are bitten you have no choice but to fully enjoy the form, function or both in a car that has no equal! Consider a trip to the track to learn more about the Viper's potential to make you smile.

That's bad-***, dude! Wicked looking! You only live once, so enjoy it with panache. (Ha ha, made you look a word up)

That double-decker wing looks big enough to hang dry the laundry of an entire family! Just kidding, Adam!

Hey Adam,
I'm in Enterprise, about an hour south of Montgomery. We saw each other at VOI. Hey man, is the scoop functional?

ab,
Those are some great photos. Ever since I saw the GTS-R concept car I have been drawn to the roof scoop. Is yours the one from Vmania? Did it come already painted? How well does it line up with the roof line? Details on its attachment to the roof? Maybe some close-up pictures of the edges and rear?

You have a great looking car!
(by the way, where did you get the clear side markers?)

I got the roof scoop from Autoform. I modified my self to give the appearance of a real hood scoop. The way Autoform has the non-func scoops didn't fit my tast. I did some cutting of th scoop and if I ever want to make it real I can or if I want to take it off I can. (it will be hard to do. I used double tape but I did a bit of prep work to make it stick. I have been up to 160mph and no problem at all! Let me put it this way, you can hold the scoop and shake it back and forth and the whole entire car shakes...show you how strong it is and it's not going anywhere.

I love the way my car looks and I will be adding wheels nexted. It was a pain to get the car on the alighnment rack, but I managed to get it on. I get soooo many compliments from by standers..That scoop does set off the rear wing in my honest opinion. I got the clear lights from e-bay for $40.00 buck. It was a rip off, but you can get them at Napa I think for $10.00. I like the clear lights cause of the color silver. I think that is the only color it would look good on.

Wild dude..I know ya! I just couldn't remember how far you were away. It's about a 3-4 hour drive for me.

pics look great.... hope you have some poweradders to make up for the effective loss of about 50HP from the aerodynamics of the scoop and wing.....

Yes, more power is in the works, lots more..wait til I get finished with that. To me the Viper isn't all about going fast...have to look good too! Yes, I can be a poser at times.

Ab,
I like it, it looks great! But I think the scoop will highly affect your top end with such a high drag coefficient. Might make it slow down to about the top end of an RT/10.

Very nice look, like the Dodge comercial says,it's different.
