from about 70mph and up. at first i thought my nitrous would keep it close as my RWTQ is 856, but once he got wound up and boosting he pulled me pretty easily. Dimitious, your car is sick bro. CONGRATS. and thanx for the directions home.

so i learned one thing....torque dont mean shyt.

his has like 750 to my 850. his RWHP is 739 to my 577

torque matters a lot, that's what gets you off the line and going, but the situation you're talking about, higher speeds, is all horsepower.

im NOT a track guy. but i might go this friday nite to watch and hang with dimitrios. id like to see what it can do. My car is capable of decent times im sure but the driver...thats another story.

i actually had it once in e town (before VEC2 and nitrous)and ran 13 flat/119 with me spinning the first 60' or so. then second run i launched perfectly as the vid showed but then when i hit 2nd, i turned left..NOT GOOD or fun to do THAT. so i stick to the street...lol

At least you were able to see what your car would do against a more HP car. To bad you didn't have a camera so you could of recorded it. Nitrous is nice, I love the "throw your head back" feeling but I have been looking at getting a Roe blower. Filling the bottles **** and once you get down to around 4 #'s of Nitrous, it is basically useless.

IEATVETS, i hear ya. i still have a blast with it. the car istuned conservatively and runs perfect. THATS all i really care about.

D, very easy, i might just do it like that again. but dang that $9 toll on the verazanno is killer. but worth it.

I think we were having this exact same conversation the last time I saw you. Torque gives you the jump in a roll or gets you off the line in the 1/4 but that is it. Once both cars are full throttle it is all HP. Man D's car must be fast with 738 wheel on a Mustang dyno!
