1) I missed out on the Cockpit cover. Last one shipped out of Tator's on thursday. So when I got home i remembered that Chuck told me that on parts locater they were all gone. But I had a hunch that Fitzgerald's might not list all there inventory on the locator. Sure enough they had one left (now mine).
2) I got in my RT10 spoiler from Tator's today. All installed (me)and sportin' the new look.
3) I bought a Vintage 93 soft top off the classifieds ($650.00). I had fears that it would not fit on my 92. But it was a Vinyl top and there was a long shot it would work. The reason I needed another top was that mine would rise in the front at about 30 mph sending water in all along the header (of the windshield). After many conversations with as many people who were willing to listen and help, I found out that there was a recall on the 92 tops. All the original tops were this way, and that Dodge produced an upgraded top for the car to correct the problem (but discontinued). My car never got the upgraded top. The top came in today. Did not fit perfectly at first. The handles were out of sequence with the cam locks. So I removed the clip and handles and set the sequence to match my old top. Installed the top and it fits like a glove. I see absolutely no light at 65 mph and when I installed my Vipermania windows they now fit perfectly as well. No day light at the upper corners of the windshield. I GOT THE UPGRADED TOP. Vipermania must have formed the windows for the newer top. I bought the top as damaged goods but I do not think there is anything wrong with it. The side rails are not straight at the intersection in the front. Causing the rail to appear lower in the front than designed. But the clips work and the rail is supported by the windshield.
4) Last but not least. I just turned 29,000 miles on the car. It had 14,000 on it when I bought it. So I have more than doubled the milage on the car. Piont? I have bonded with the car and I consider it mine.
