I guess... On the bright side, nobody is trying to sell any of my cars, at least for now:D (I have had it happen a couple of times in the past, not with a Viper but with my old 3kVR4 and one of my Porsches)

Looks like a legit seller that found a good looking image in his google search. He has over 90 feedbacks, 100% positive, and they go back several years. Only five feed backs in the last year.

Honestly, I wouldn't be scared to buy from him.

If it were my car I would let him use the image! ; ) (It's not me just saying.)

Fleabay feedback does not mean much considering there is a questionable vendor here with 100 percent feedback on fleabay:rolaugh:

Let me explain to you why this thing is shady: the seller never mentions the brand of his product nor does he post any actual photos of his own stuff for sale, this alone is one big red flag to me. I doubt the guy would be that dumb not to mention APR in his auction. The other thing, he rips my photo off this forum and does not even understand what he shows. My car also has the APR splash guards, without them, the skirts look completely different. Will the buyer know this? I doubt it.

The other thing, he posts photos he stole from APR, they show plain weave pattern. APR discontinued this pattern a couple of years ago, I had to wait for 7 months for them to make me air dam in this pattern on special order. So if indeed, this guy has this stuff, it is either very old, mismatched or different weave. Now, what I would like to know is where he came up with the idea of front and side splitters? Again, this is all very shady and misleading. Finally, any seller with a trace of honesty would disclose these are not his photos.

I ran into this issue a long time ago. Politely email him and ask him to remove your photo from the listing.
Did not do any good. I filed a complaint with Ebay and this did not help either. I just got off the phone with Ebay customer service and hopefully this will finally work. When someone used photos of my cars on autotrader before, the ads were removed in a matter of minutes. I guess Ebay is not as swift.

That that is pretty jacked and shows a lack of integrity. Sad!
Agreed and considering none of the photos show actual parts, lack of honesty should be added as well. If this guy owns a Viper, I hope he is an exception. Knowing first hand how this feels to be screwed buying Viper parts, I refuse to be an accomplice to another bad transaction:nono::D

Was the pic put on this forum? A public forum? You clearly put the pic out there somewhere and this guy used it. It's not like he went to your house and took the pic.
I'm sorry but I don't see the fraud part. Not like your car has anything very different about it and this guy is claiming it to be his or his work. He's just selling a basic part that you have bolted on.

What if a large car company used my car picture on my property to promote there products I would expect permission or a commission check to do so, otherwise there would a court battle for rights.

I have had cars I've built in different parts catalogs and mags and never got one of these checks you speak of. I must be doing something wrong

Let us agree to disagree since you clearly did not read what was said previously.
