I NEED A TUNER!!

My car is running really lean from 2000 to 5000 I need someone in the NY NJ CT PA area who can tune my car. I checked with one place they want from $1600.00- $2000.00, way more than it is worth, IMO, when you can tune any other car for 500.00 Any info would be helpful.

Yes I will give Chuck a call, I also just spoke with another person who wanted to sell me a DFI system and tune it for 1700.00. Oh my!

We used a wideband O2 on the dyno O2 is plugged into the header,car was driven previous to the dyno, no check engine light no detonation that I can hear but the car is pretty loud. And Wayne I called you you were out and are supposed to be returning my call when you get in. Talk to ya then. Thanks

How do you know it's running lean, and what driving conditions is it running lean under (light load, WOT, etc)?

Did you measure it using a wideband O2 ($$$) or regular one?
How did they measure the A/F ratio? (in the collector, tailpipe, etc..)

Is your car pinging/detonating in this lean condition?

Did you reset the computer prior to seeing the lean results??

As you can see, they are lots of variables. After you answer some of these questions, I may be able to help.

Why not buy the vec-1 and do it yourself $409.We use it with NOS cars.
