I need your help deciding

Viperholics,

I have to select only one set of rims for my 1998 Viper GTS (Silver/Blue)(Can only afford one set). My choices are 2001 18' OEM's, 2001 18' ACR's, or Purner 18' street rims. I realize it comes down to personal preference, but how do you feel my final selection will effect resale value of the vehicle, if any? I would be also interested in your opinions of the different rims as well. Thanks in advance for your opinion/help!!

I'd definitely go with the BBS ACR wheels. They're on the expensive side but are beatiful wheels. I actually don't care for the newer wide spoke dish 18" wheels, though the older thin 5 spoke is very nice, but 17".

Also, I'd keep the stock rims (in storage)if at all possible, though I don't think the resale value would be hurt by the BBS wheels, as the stock versions could be picked up at a later date for a relatively minimal cost.

My theoretical '98 would be wearing ACR rims within 1 month of purchase time.

ACR wheels all the way. i think the 2001 18' OEM's look like the dodge minivan wheels, but bigger/wider. sorry, but they do.
Or get the aftermarket BBS ones.

I know what you're going through. I just ordered mine. I went with the HRE 546 but if my Viper was silver I'd go with the BBS or maybe the 540 HRE's for a more polished look. Good Luck!!

EBC greens will take care of that, they have on my car.
