Chuck (who has two vipers), Terry, and I met up for a small car show in Tampa after a mandatory WingHouse visit..
The show was HUGE last weekend (1st Sat of every month). But today it wasn't as big (perhaps 60 or so cars only). But none the less, here are some photos..

Here are shots of the Vipers, the flow was constant, sometimes 20 people plus gathering around them taking pictures, etc.

I then happened to walk over to the corvette side (about 10 of them line up)

Seems to be a universal reaction. I went to a car show last year and was the only Viper. I parked over by the Vettes (about 20 of them) and my single Viper had more onlookers than all the Vettes combined. Of course, none of the onlookers were Vette guys!!!

It was a good time even though Geralds side pipes blew rocks on my RT/10 (1 of 57 '97 Blue with White Strips made!!). Here are a couple of more shots to show that Vipers are a real crowd favorite.

ON a related note, I was walk'in in our hood when a guy came out of his garage for some chit chat. I had not met him before. He has a 2000 vette, so I complimented him (to be neighbourly). A little chit chat later, I revealed my Viper ownership.

His first words were, "Oh, the white one!". I said yes, thats me, white with blue stripes...He went on for a while about how great the vipers are, and how docile his vette is (his words).

He said he had never even sat in a Viper before, so I said I would stop buy some time. He said yah, you can drive my vette, its pretty docile.

Needless to say, I did not extend the same test drive offer to him for my 96 RT!!!

Yeeeeeeeehhhaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!
