When I talk with the Viper Tech I can make sure he is not missing anything and help educate me a little on what to look for when checking out this 99 GTS I am committing to.

I know of a few things but want to compile a list.

A pre-purchase inspection for anything that needs addressed including service. Also a walk around for just about anything..wear items, paint condition etc etc.

Search the Archives. There is plenty of information. Also there is a Road & Track article about purchasing vipers in the May 2001 issue . If you cannot find the article let me know and I can fax or scan and email. Also you may want to check out the specs for each model of the Viper on this website. ie 92/93/94, 95,96,GTS and 97-RT You may also want to contact Bill Pemberton of Woodhouse or Viper Wizard on this forum.

You should check with your regional VCA and see if they have a tech they recommend? If all else fails, the dealers on this site are a great resource. Send them a note and see what they say? Make sure you have the Vin number so they can run a check through the computer.
