I'm hosed

I\'m hosed

first day nice enough to drive the car in about 6 weeks and I can't get in the car. I think the battery died on me and the keys are in it (only have one set). Is there any trick way to get the door unlocked from under the hood (electonically not the mechanical latch behind the seat which I cant get to)or does anyone know if when the battery is charged or replaced will the doors power up in the locked or unlocked position?

What Model of viper do you have...that would help!

Regardless, you can pop you hood and throw a trickle charger on there, that in itself would probably be enough to open the doors...you don't need a battery to open the hood...Then go buy another battery!

It's a 99 ACR. Will the doors power up in the locked or unlocked position?

yes! remove and reinstall positive post under hood and your door lock will reset
