I have just uploaded the latest (and hopefully last) BETA of the Image Galleries. This latest update includes many improvements; the most exciting being "Personal Albums".
A new menu item has been added for registered users "Albums" - from here you can create new categories within your id that you can use to store images. The images you place in these albums is not listed in the main groups of forums; but rather, inside of your Members Gallery. People visiting your Members section will have the option of viewing images that you have grouped into your albums.
This is also a great feature for setting up albums that you want to email links to your family or friends for.
Keep in mind that the intent of this service is for the sharing of Viper-related photos; as such, we ask that the content be limited to such material.
Since this is still BETA software, I would appriciate any feedback people have. With almost 9,000 lines of PHP code written in the past 6 weeks I wouldnt be suprised if there was a glitch or two.

. Photo ratings. Users can "vote" on images and rate them on a scale of 1 to 5. Rating are displayed with stars in thumbnail views.
. Zlib compression. To help people with slower connections, I have added ZLib compress for pages. I will be adding a php accelerator shortly which will speed things up even more ( as if it wasnt fast already!)
