Importing SC Gen to into germany

UK Club member is selling his 1996 Roe blown GTS and he has a buyer in Germany ..
Can the car be imported and registered or is there complications involved..

there has to be a website that shows what you can and cannot import. we have one in Ontario Canada. also the smog testing could be an issue if they have it in Germany.
