What's so bad about the duct? Doesn't make that much overall difference to the way the car looks, unless you look through a distorted-details-exagerator lens. Now I wouldn't have painted it that way at all, but it really doesn't amount to a pinch of sht, in my opinion. Easy enough to change back. The wheels don't disgust me, + I don't find them overly obnoxious either. Don't hate on a GTS, they're GREAT! Even when the owners go "corvette" on them, and try to bling them up. Subtract their crass styling mistakes, and it's still a great car.
There's so many over-done cars in the Viper nation, i just don't pay them no mind. Huge ugly wings, strange wheels, purple people eaters, gill treatments, dolphins, giant stickers, I've seen it all. You can't stress out about everybodys' personal taste like a grumpy old man looking at the street through the blinds, life is too short. The only thing that matters is if you like your own Viper, and what you've done with it.
Overall, what strikes me about this car, is it's solid color, sans stripes, and the way that brings more focus to the beautiful lines of the body as a whole. Stripes sort of "steal the show", break up the flow of the lines, and dominate your attention.
Yes, my GTS has stripes, and I like it that way. But a solid color does seem to lend drama to the basic shape, w/o overshadowing it.
My $.02
And worth every penny!
