IN/KY VCA "FYI"...Drag Racing, Muncie, IN...Wed. Oct. 13, 2010...

We have been invited to participate in a day of "casual" open drag racing at the Muncie Dragway by some friends in the Corvette Club who have secured the track for the day. They expect a low number of participants, so you will essentinlly have unlimited track time...within the limits of your tires, soundness of your car, your appetite, etc..with the weather being the usual variable . This event is expected to run from 9:00 AM til 4:00 PM EDT...costing between $20-30.00 for the entire day.

Weds is a tough day to do a track day, unfortunately, though it sounds like a great deal.

Agree about weekdays...suspect that keeps price down, numbers low by intent.

Apparently there is a scheduled event at the track that night...for the more serious racers who care to stay and watch/participate.

Sadly, there has been a death in the family of one of the organizors of this event.
