The annual Kokomo Transmission Plant Cruise-in and Car Show for American cars, trucks, and cycles will take place on the grounds Sunday, August 26, 2007...opens at NOON EDT and runs til 4:00 PM.(exhibitors should come between 9:00 and 10:00 AM). This is a GREAT EVENT...LOTS of fine cars, show cars, and MOPARS !!! We usually have 25-33 Vipers in the corral...along with Prowlers, ACR Neons, and SRT-4's!!

The plant ("KTP") is located on the US 31 bypass in Kokomo, IN...about 40 miles north of Indy.

As the summer winds down, this is a good time to see your fellow Club Members...and their cool rides.

Hope YOU can stop by !!!

For those in the Indy area...(and southern parts of our Region)...we will gather at the Starbucks located on the SOUTHEAST corner of US 31 and 126th St (also called West Carmel Dr.) between 8:30 and 9:00 AM EDT on Sunday, August 26, 2007. This area is in Carmel, IN...about 2 miles north of the I-465 beltway. A "convoy" will depart the Starbucks at 9:00 AM EDT.

We will travel NORTH on US 31 to the Kokomo Transmission Plant for the annual show as previously noted. The "convoy" will pass through the Westfield area around 9:10 AM.

ALL VIPER OWNERS are invited to join in on the fun. At KTP, we will park in our usual Viper Corral...which necessitates the early arrival at the plant.

Bring your FRS radios (such as the Motorola Talkabout) and tune them to channel "5", security code "0".

Plan to fuel BEFORE the gathering at Starbucks !!!

See YOU there !!!

As the summer winds down, this is usually our last BIG warm-weather gathering. Kokomo Transmission Plant (KTP) is located on the US 31 bypass in Kokomo, IN...about 40 miles north of Indy. This is a SHORT DRIVE !!

Sooooooo...let's try for a record turnout at the Annual Show this Sunday !!

There are quite a few folks who have already contacted Rick Birchler (some of whom are arriving Saturday PM) and yours truly about attending...the MORE the MERRIER.
Feel free to invite GUESTS, noting that it takes a VIPER to park in the Corral.

REMEMBER: Steve Fess will be getting together with the Indy area members at the Starbucks located on the SOUTHEAST corner of US 31 and 126th St (also called West Carmel Dr.) between 8:30 and 9:00 AM EDT on Sunday, August 26, 2007. This area is in Carmel, IN...about 2 miles north of the I-465 beltway. The "convoy" will depart the Starbucks at 9:00 AM EDT.

Indeed, the weather was perfect and it was an impressive turnout for Vipers. I didn't realize you all were going to have fresh wax and polish on your cars! I think there are some professional polishers in that group....I hope I didn't let the club down by showing up with bugs on my facia!

Good to see you guys, Jim. In fact, YOUR car was quite a "hit" as there were no other "race cars" there...the crowd AND your fellow club members were very impressed.

Thanks for coming...and THANKS to ALL for a great show !!!
