inspection sticker on viper in NC?

Anyone live in NC and had to put the inspection sticker on their Viper? What if I didn't put the sticker on and just kept in my glovebox? The sticker is big and ugly and don't like the idea of putting any sticker on my Viper.
Anyone have this problem in other states?

Mine lives under my rearview mirror so I don't have to see it. It's about 3"x3" bright red ugly square with a big #12 on it for the month.

I really dislike inspection stickers. And parking passes, and dump permits, and blah....

I have my NC sticker in the left hand corner, about as low as it will go. I don't much notice it, as I'm mostly in the car.

I not only have to have a front plate, Maryland, I have to have a couple of stickers in order to get on the military base where I work. The stickers must be top, center of the windshield. The young, military gate guards always have something nice to say about my Viper when I come in. They never speak when I drive my Corvette to work.
