The quality is good but the opening to the shifter is too wide on top..you can push it down and see the 19mm bolt that stops the shifter from screwing down. And on the e-brake the opening is too small and wont go all the way past the leather hand part until it reached that indentation the stock leather boot rests in. Other than that looks good and livens up the interior a bit.

Really nothing magic about the tops to both boots. There is a rubber o-ring on the stock boots that helps to provide a snug fit. I am in the process of having some made out of a black alcantara with red stitching and am expecting a perfect fit.

I did the yellow boots. Turned out pretty nice, although the boot for the shifter wasn't quite shaped correctly because when the car is in first, the boot is pulled a little tight. Not enough to make it pull it out of gear or anything, just not quite like stock.

the yellow looks fruity & pepboys-ish IMO
maybee looks diff in person though

i think darker leathers like blue&red can look ok in the right app, but with a solid black interior i prefer stock black leather, or darkgrey, or maybee even the carbon fiber looking stuff.

I just installed a MGW S/S and a red/black interior in my 09 Graphite ACR so I ordered both boots in black but with red stitching from a company called Redlinegoods..I even changed out the e-brake assembly with the red one from the mamba interior, looks great .For the s/s I had to give them measurements from the four corners or 1st/2nd/reverse and 6th..They probably wont arrive until Friday...I will post pics when I get them...Kevin

That definitely would have been my first choice. My '07 Charger Superbee has yellow stitching in black leather/cloth and it looks great. I just couldn't find that combo for the Viper. :2tu:

Well, I guess it's a good thing it's not in your car then huh?

In all honesty, the pictures aren't great. It looks better in person, but probably not to you. :smirk:

You are right..pictures don't do it justice. On the viper store website the pictures of the red ones look shiny and cheesy but they are NOT in person. Leather is equal quality if not better than stock ones. I have the mamba console so the red leather looks great against the silver . Thinking of cutting the rubber ring that makes it a tight fit.

Did you say black with yellow stitching (also a little yellow on the glove box cover, shift knob, floor mats and MOMO pedals)...
