Installing Gen 4 headers - how to take out the passenger side headers ?

how to take the passenger side headers out ? I lifted the engine max lift and still cannot snake it out ?? any tips ??

Only lift the passenger side of the motor. If you lift the whole motor it doesn't work. Leave the engine mount attached on the driver side and it will help

thats what i did , but i didn't leave the driver side attached . will try that tomorrow .

Do i have to take out the wipers cowl ?

No you don't have to but I do anyway since it is so easy. It really helps when you get to the back spark plugs and the back tubes on the headers. That is always the first thing I remove.

By leaving the driver side loose you went up even with the motor, it actually helps to pull the motor sideways to get the header out and back in. Good luck

Removing the wiper cowl and the overflow bottle and hose made all the difference. I'm sure the experts might chime in. Good luck and enjoy the ride.

got out that POS header ....... i was loosing my mind ..would not defo do it again .... what a nightmare !!!

had to get out the valve covers ,cut the heat tin thingy with my dremel .....
