Is there enough room to compress the spring with a spring compressor with out taking the coilover out? I'm already running eibach springs. Wondering if I will be able to raise the car, compress the spring without taking the coilover out remove the factory spring cap and just slide the lowering cap in.

It will probably depend on the size of the spring compressor tool you have. I was able to do my rears without removal, but not the fronts.

I was going to rent one from an autoparts store. Not sure what they have.

I tried and tried to compress the springs on the car in order to install caps on my 01 GTS, but ended up removing them. There just wasn't enough room.

The fronts come out pretty easily, it's really no big deal.

I've switched out my gts suspension out a million times. Just trying to gauge how much time I need to get this quick mod done.
