I don't get it...

The difference between a 94 RT and a 96 RT is double! My insurance (per 6) is 500$ for the 94 and 1,337 (!!) for the 96! Uggg.. its like having my 3000GT VR4 again

a 2 year difference = 800$ difference?

Try to insure a Viper in the New York City metropolitan area (NY/NJ/CT) and THEN complain!

Ive a 99 RT10, a 99 Mercedes CLK320, and a 2000 landcruiser; total is $2,190 for six months! dont feel bad, and remember, when something happens, youll be glad you got that **** expensive insurance. lets face it, insurance is a scam and a racket as it is, but "its the law" LOL

MadMaxx - something smells really fishy there. It almost sounds like you have a bad outbreak of Progressive or State Farm.

There are vehicle differences to be taken into account between the 94 and 96 and newer vehicles almost always cost a little more, but that much difference sounds like an agent looking for a free trip to the Bahamas.

I don't get it either. USAA is usualy always good to me on rates, but this kinda shocked me.

Our house is through all-state, so i'm going to check them next. I wouldn't touch progressive w/ a 10ft pole hehe

All part of the grand scheme to remove private automobiles from public roads and make everyone use transit.

$660/year w/ Nationwide - about the same price as my new new Acuras. My previous Supra TT was only $50 less. No complaints at that level...
