I'm going to be working on some new Overlays for the Viper in the next few days. Any interest in the ones listed above? I'll be offering them in my standard smoke tint and lighter/subtle tint.

Bat,
I'd be interested in something for the headlights....mine are NOT HID. To be honest, though, I have concerns about the install. I have yet to do the rear overlays as I am not too sure about the little bit of excess around the edges. I envision it looking a little....bad. Should I let them dry, then take a razor and clean up the edges?

Having said all that....I'll be here for the headlights. :)

Tony, on the redouts, basically the kit is oversized on purpose so what you want to do is heat up the edges and tuck them over with a squeegy. This makes for a clean install ;) . Cant wait for the pics!

OK Bat...I did the install today. The key word here is PATIENCE. Typically...I have very little. :)

I might take pics tomorrow.

Overall it wasn't that bad. The first one was easier as I think I got a little cocky on the second one (since the first went so well). :) I am anxious to see what the overlay does around all the rasied lettering. Aside from that, no issues or concerns at all (unless I REALLY messed up the second one on the driver side).

Tony, on the raised lettering portion, simply apply heat witn a hairdryer and apply pressure. It'll adhere nicely to the surface :) .

Yeah, yeah, yeah....cool your jets. :) LOL! After work. :)

Bat....I was adding heat (which is where PATIENCE pays off). Too much heat appears as if it might disform the overlay. I didn't get that far.....maybe just on the edge. :)

James, I should have them done sometime this week. I'm working on a smoke overlay for the backup lights to go with my redout turnsignals first. I'll have compariosn pics as well so you guys can see there really isn't affect on light output with the smoke tint. Smoke tints will be offered in my standard 6/10, and lighter 3/10 tints :) .Quite a few manufacturers are going with that look of have a tinted backup lamp rather than just plain white.

Go ahead....I said all along I'd take pics for ya'. :) Not really feeling 100% today or I would have moved it outside for some better pics. Hopefully this weekend I'll feel better. I gotta get the seats out anyway and start on the rollbar. :)

Bat -
How much for "lightly smoked" headlight covers (Gen I)
Also, anything for the fog lights? (I don't have foglight covers - had the slots for the covers filled)
Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark,

Are the 1st gen headlights the same shape as the 2nd gen? I'm planning foglight overlays too in yellow, ice blue, amber and smoke :) . Headlight kit will run about $40 shipped, foglight covers about $15 shipped ;) .
