I love the GR-1.

It will probably have a HUGE markup too, like the Ford GT, if it makes it to production so I'm not holding my breath to own one of those either.

Power and Looks what else can you ask for??? Certainly for the Viper Community we are asking for both; let’s just hope we get what we ask for.

wow! that engine looks to be sportin double overhead camshafts. i wonder how many valves they are using per cylinder. fords latest V-10 truck engines have 3 valves per cylinder.

Fantastic looking ride and much more affordable for those on a moderate budget. I hope to buy one in about five years if it goes to market. Very Very fine!

So are the engine and tranny on display just mockups or the real thing? SSLIDER seemed to think this car did not have a drive train.

The engine and driveline are the real thing. We saw the car drive in for the press reveal.

The finish is what they call "half polished aluminum".

Half polished?? What would full polished look like? lol
The body panels, with a shine like that, would have to be laser straight.
Dent Busters would love this since dings would be very noticeable.

The latest issue of Autoweek magazine says that the GR-1 is scheduled for 2007 production -- but without the V10 engine!!
