Interior Lites

I don't know if I'm stupid or overlooking something, But when I open my doors there is know interior lites that come on if I manually turn the lites on the rearview mirror on they work. Have I turned something off or is something wrong?

I believe there is a "rolling type" bezel by the headlight stalk that dims the interior lights and/or shuts them off completely.

The dimmer switch will turn them on but that does not have anything to do with the doors opening. I don't see a door jamb switch and I can't remember but I am sure the car has interior lights that come on when the door is opened?

On the left stalk if that rotating bezel is turned all the way towards the floor it will keep the interior lights off all the time...Just click it up a few notches and they will come on when the door(s) open..Read your manual too,lol
