Question. I was at a car show a week ago and saw a stock 2002 FE GTS and a stock 2000 RT/10 sitting side by side. The GTS tire to fender clearance and the RT's tire to fender clearance were different. The GTS sat much higher than the RT and the entire car sat higher.
Got me thinking. How could this be? Are the underpinnings not the same on both cars? Tires were the same. Rims the same. Yet, there was a difference. My guess would have to be suspension. The FE was lower in milage, could the RT's suspension be tired so it sags lower?
Any thoughts? I don't get it.
