This is not Viper related,

This is a kit car in Canada, what would it take to register it in USA?

Thanks

Not sure about bringing a kit to the US from Canada but I know you can't get a completed kit into Canada from the US. I looked into it last summer and flat out got told no way would it happen.

It is regesterd as a 75 Datsun in Canada. Do any requirement for cars over 25 years old apply when importing to US

Funny, I sold an AC Cobra KIT car was licensed as a 66 Ford convertible to a Dealer in Canada 4 yrs ago and the car is still in Victoria. Coming into US same thing it is called a Gray Market vehicle for emmisions and has to meet US Federal emmission and have US MPH speedo. If older car no problem if no emmissions test. Also in the back of any streetrod or kitcar magazine there are ways to title anything on wheels. Have done it 3 times now on cars I've built.

I bought my 99 GTS in Cali and had it imported into Canada... A huge pain in the ass with allot of red tape.

But worth it in the end, because now I get to drive it...lol
