My ASD fuse blew when I was trying to teach my son how to drive a manual tranmission. He had a hard herky jerky start/kill which popped the fuse.

Guys, this is a good, informative thread and one of the things that makes viperclub.org a great resource for Viper owners. Don't dirty it up with a bunch of political bickering. We have a politics forum for that (but the conduct policies apply there too!)
